Summer Activities

Kilometers of trail, scenic vistas, remote lakes and more!

Join us this summer out on the Gold Rush multi-use trail and explore the scenic vistas of the south cariboo. This winter-groomed, family-friendly trail is open to all during the warm summer months.

Grab your helmet and head out

Travel along kilometers of trail and interconnecting forest service roads on your atv, dirtbike or mountain bike. Ride amongst towering poplar, spruce and fir trees, alongside golden meadows and atop weathered boulder-filled hilltops.

So much to see on two feet…or four!

Bring your family (including Rover) and set-out to discover tranquil, remote lakes and picturesque vantage points. Canoe, fish and camp the Moose Valley Canoe Chain, watch wildlife in their natural habitat as your circumnavigate Helena Lake or hike in to Moffat Falls in the Horsefly area for a memorable picnic experience.

Maps

Prior to departing, be sure to download our gps waypointed maps of the area and trails! Physical maps are available free of charge from the South Cariboo Chamber of Commerce.
